REQUEST COSTS FOR OVERSEAS DELIVERY
We despatch to most countries worldwide, now also including USA and Canada. Please note that for overseas orders, we would usually only be able to deliver to the cardholder's billing address.
Our standard postal charges only cover orders with delivery addresses in mainland UK and Northern Ireland. All orders, sent both within the UK and internationally are sent by a service which requires a signature at the destination. We usually use Royal Mail's International Signed For service for overseas orders, but Royal Mail do impose size restrictions for this service, although we're usually able to package within these limitations.
PLEASE CONTACT US FOR SHIPPING COSTS BEFORE PLACING AN ORDER FOR DELIVERY OVERSEAS... ideally by using the brief questionnaire below, or by email, if you'd like a parcel to be sent outside the destinations covered by our standard charges. We'll weigh your packaged order so that we can give you an accurate cost for sending your parcel abroad. We don't inflate Royal Mail's or a courier's price for overseas parcels and our charges to you reflect the actual postage and packing costs to us. Please be aware that since 1st May 2012, new, increased prices have been brought in by Royal Mail, but they still offer a vastly better value service than other international couriers. We always aim to find the lightest way of securely packaging your order, so that we can try to keep these costs as low as possible for you, whilst also ensuring that the contents will be adequately protected during their journey!
Already placed your order? Don't worry if you're only reading this after having already placed an order for international delivery! It's just a little better and easier for you if you know the overseas delivery costs first! If you have already ordered, we'll be in touch with you shortly, to let you know how much extra it will cost to send your parcel to the destination country, with no obligation to continue with your order.
Box or Mailing Bag packaging option? Some of our toys come with very little manufacturer's packaging... sometimes as little as just a modest label attached, others come attached to a card backing and others are presented in attractive gift boxes. If any part of your order is intended as a gift, or if you'd simply like the packaging to be better protected on its journey, we'd recommend you request a quote allowing for a box only, as outer packaging. If the toy is for your own child though and the packaging will just be recyled as soon as the toy arrives, you might prefer to opt for a mailing bag instead, which will help reduce the cost for shipping as this will be lighter and will be reflected in the postage costs. Being soft toys, these should usually be fine in a mailing bag, as long as you're not worried about the manufacturer's packaging or gift boxes perhaps getting bent. If, however, you've ticked the mailing bag option and we feel that this might not be advisable for one or more of the items you've chosen, we'll let you know and we'll explain why we'd recommend a box instead on this occasion.
Green People Baby & Child Skincare: We are only able to send Green People products to some countries. Please contact us before ordering products from this range, to see if we can deliver to your country if you're outside the UK.
Naturally, requesting costs for overseas deliveries doesn't place you under any obligation to proceed with an order!
Protecting against fraud: For the cardholder's protection, we are especially cautious with international orders and, in compliance with our payment processing bank's recommendations, we may sometimes need to ask the cardholder for proof of ID, and/or we may insist on delivery being only to the card's billing address. Please don't be offended if you are asked for this - it's purely to ensure that nobody else is using your card, particularly in these times when identity fraud is a common problem, often without the cardholder even realising that they're a victim of this crime. We don't use your information for anything other than cardholder verification purposes and we never, ever, share, sell or pass on any of your details to third parties, unless we're obliged to by law.
Please note that the above request for you to enter a code to deter junk mail is case sensitive so please type the letters and numbers exactly as they appear in the box, duplicating any capital and non-capitalised letters.
