This is a truly exquisite organic cotton butterfly which sleeps in a removable chrysalis drawstring bag which is striped only by using naturally-occurring brown and white coloured varieties of organic cotton. It has a little red hat with green peaks as feelers and softly shaped yellow wings. Once emerged from its chrysalis, it has a green body shaped to a gentle point, with little blue arms. All of the outer parts of this natural butterfly toy are organic cotton, with a pure organic wool filling, having natural hypoallergenic and dust mite deterrent properties. The butterfly's delicate sleeping face is hand-painted onto organic cotton stockingette, complete with eyelashes to die for! Please note: One butterfly-in-a-bag supplied.

This premium quality and exquisitely hand-made organic rattle is produced in small quantities, so it really does make an unusual baby gift that you'd be unlikely to find on the High Street.

Hand washable in lukewarm water with care - the organic wool filling is not treated with any anti-felting agents. Do not tumble dry.

I love this butterfly.  It's colourful, cuddly and has lots of 'feely' bits to play with, and because it's organic, it's perfect for sucking on.  Our baby boy was given one when he was born and he still loves it nearly a year later.  I've just bought one for a friend's new baby girl as I think it makes a lovely unusual present.  It was ordered late on a Friday afternoon and it arrived the next morning beautifully wrapped, so thanks for an excellent service.
