Charlie Bears Organic Barley Lamb - 30cm (medium)

The medium version of cuddly, sleepy, Barley Lamb from the Little Organics Baby Safe range by Charlie Bears, made with softly tufted organic cotton fleece and hypoallergenic eco-friendly filling.

This adorable organic lamb has a fluffy fleece, made with tufted organic cotton fleece and a contendedly sleepy expression - perfect for your little one to snuggle up with at bed or nap time!  The creamy velour fabric of its face is made with a corn fabric (non-organic) which is velvety smooth to touch, with long-eyelashed silvery-grey closed eyes and a pink nose as its embroidered facial features.  The inner ears and feet pads are formed with fawn coloured ribbed organic cotton.

As with all the toys in this range, Barley has a Charlie Bears cloth badge stitched on its bottom!  These aren't mass-produced toys - each of these Charlie Bears Little Organics toys is made by hand so they will each be individual, with slight variations.

Machine washable to 40ºC.  Do not bleach, do not tumble dry, do not iron and do not dry clean.

Outer material: The main tufted outer fabric is made with certified 100% organic cotton fleece (with Organic Exchange certification and are Control Union certified to GOTS standard).  The smooth area of Barley Lamb's face is made with corn fabric - a renewable resource of a manmade fibre using corn and having a velour-like feel.  The ribbed fabric for the inner ears and feet pads are certified 100% organic cotton. This organic toy also carries Öko-tex 100 certification. What's Öko-Tex 100?

Filling: This lamb has a soft padded filling of 100% PET fleece (eco-friendly 100% recycled polyester fibres) which is hypoallergenic and dustmite deterrent.

Whitening/dyeing/finishing: All dyeing is done using non-toxic low impact dyes, tested to Öko-tex 100 standard.  All dyes used on the organic fabrics have been tested and registered with the Ecological and Toxicological Association of Dyes and Organic Pigments Manufacturers (ETAD).  Through the testing of these dyes, ETAD's goal is to minmise any possible adverse impact of organic colourants on health and the environment. Low impact dyes means that they have a low environmental impact - they react very effectively with the fabric, eliminating the need for colour fixing agents.
